Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how the Banqa website and platform (operated by Codego Group) uses cookies and similar technologies.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites recognise your device, remember your preferences and provide essential functionality. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixels.
2. Cookies we use
Banqa keeps cookie use to the strict minimum:
- Strictly necessary — session cookie (
vcc_portal_sess): a signed, HTTP-only, secure cookie that stores your sign-in session. Without it you cannot stay logged in. Lifetime: 14 days. - Strictly necessary — Cloudflare bot protection(
cf_clearance,__cf_bm): set by Cloudflare to distinguish humans from bots and protect against abuse. Required for the Service to function. - Cloudflare Turnstile: a privacy-respecting CAPTCHA loaded on sign-in and sign-up pages. It does not track you across sites and uses minimal device signals to fight bots.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics trackers, or social-network pixels.
3. Consent
Because Banqa only uses strictly necessary cookies, no separate consent banner is required under EU ePrivacy guidance. You can still disable cookies via your browser settings — but the Service will not work without the session cookie.
4. Changes
If we introduce new cookies (e.g. analytics) we will update this policy and present a consent prompt where required.
