How to spot phishing attempts
Simple rules to avoid scams targeting your account, card and wallet.

Scammers impersonate brands to steal logins, card details or recovery phrases. These rules keep you safe:
- We will never ask for your password, PIN, full card number, CVV or recovery phrase.
- Always check the address bar — only use the official Banqa domain. Passkeys won’t work on fake sites.
- Don’t click links in unexpected emails or messages; open the site directly instead.
- Your 24-word recovery phrase is never needed to “verify”, “sync” or “unlock” anything. Anyone asking is a scammer.
- Be wary of urgency (“act now or your card is blocked”) — it’s a classic pressure tactic.
